Vellarimala,Kerala,India

Vellarimala is a mountain range in Kerala and it spreads across Thiruvambady Panchayat in Kozhikode district and Meppadi Panchayat in Wayanad district. 
Vellarimala hill is accessible from the last village in the region Muthappanpuzha, near Anakkampoyil town, about 50 kilometers from Kozhikode.
The region is contiguous with the Nilgiris of Tamil Nadu. Regardless of the exhausting climb however, travellers come here for the sheer thrill and adventure the place has in store for the trekking enthusiast.
Vellarimala waterfall is an attraction which can be visited all through the year but the best season for visiting the place is from September to May when the monsoon resides and the tides are wavering with a gushing flow, hence, creating a spellbinding sight to see.
How to Reach
Vellarimala is located about Kozhikode about 55 Km away from the city center you can take National highway 766 route from the city . The journey would of max 90 Minutes to the hill station.
By Air – Calicut International Airport is located in the city.
By Road– Kozhikode has a good road network and is well connected by nearby districts of the state. National highway and state highways passes by the district which make road transport efficient and well maintained.
By Rail – Calicut Railway Station is located in Kuttichira . The railway lines of Kozhikode is well connected to other cities of Kerala. From here one can take buses to Vellarimala.
