Nagaon Beach is a 3 km long flat beach with soft fine mixture of white and black sand. The beach is mainly a sandy beach unlike most other beaches in Alibaug.
The view of the ferociously beautiful Arabian sea rushing to the sandy coastline is a treat to the eyes. Adding the cherry on the cake is the view of the sun gliding below and above the horizon.
Nagaon is the hub of water sports in Alibaug with the highest number of water sport operators functioning at the beach who also offer parasailing in the Sea. Visitors will find parasailing, jet skies, motor boat rides, banana rides and many other water rides at Nagaon Beach.
 The beach is safe for all kinds of activities like swimming and boating due to flat surface. 
The beach also offers ample number of beach resorts and private bungalows wherein one can catch the magnificent view of the sunset. The atmosphere is very lively on weekends. It is a perfect family getaway.
How to Reach
By Air
Nearest airport is Mumbai, approximately 118 km from Nagaon via road. One can avail catamaran ride from the Gateway of India to Mandwa or Rewas Ferry Wharf, and then reach Alibaug via chartered bus service. From there, one can take a private car or bus to Nagaon.
By Road
There are regular State Transport MSRTC bus services available, connecting Mumbai, Kolhapur and Pune to Alibaug. From Alibaug hire an auto to reach Nagaon. One can also take a direct taxi or shuttle car services from major cities.
By Ferry
From Mumbai to Nagaon Beach, the shortest and most convenient transportation mode is ferry from the Gateway of India. Daily catamaran services are available from 6:00am to 6:00pm from the Gateway of India to Mandwa and Rewas ferry wharf. Ferry operators also provide bus service from Mandwa or Rewas to Alibaug, from where one can reach Nagaon, about 10 km.

One of the remote beaches of Alibaug is the Revdanda Beach which is located in the village of Revdanda. The beach unlike others does not have creamy sands but has black sand which is something very rare to find. 
The beach of Revdanda is one of those places where you would love to spend time and wash away all the stress and worries of living in a metropolitan city.
Apart from the serene beach where you can enjoy the serene water and camp under the starlit sky, Datta Mandir is a popular temple in the Chaul area where you have to climb over 1500 steps. The temple was built by Shivaji mainly in order to watch over the enemies.
 Revdanda is one of the most significant villages of Konkan in Maharashtra for the Jewish community of India. The entire village is full with coconut and beetle nut plantations. Apart from coconut and beetle nut plantation the main occupation of the locals is rice farming.
Starting from October till the summer heat hits, you can comfortably visit Revdanda as the period boasts of the perfect weather with no rains or scorching sun.

By Air: Mumbai is the closest Airport to Alibaug.
By Rail: The nearby railway station to Alibaug is Panvel situated 28 Kilometres from Alibaug. Trains are available from Mumbai Dadar and Diva, Panvel.
By Road: Revdanda Beach is situated in the village of Revdanda. Till few years back the road from south of Alibaug use to ends at Revdanda. The new bridge is constructed from Revdanda which extends till Murud Janjira. Mumbai to Alibaug is approx 78 Km NH-17 Mumbai – Goa highway connects to alibaug, Pune to Revdanda is 160 Km. Hyderabad to Alibaug is 698 Km, Nagpur to Alibaug is 907 Km, Bangalore to Alibaug is 982 Km. By road it takes approx 3 to 4 hours to reach Revdanda from Pune.
