The beach of excitement and fun. For sure, Baga Beach in north Goa is touristy and busy, the land of action, it’s one of the most happening beaches on the coast. Its scenic beauty, with the brook, the Retreat House rested on the hill all have chipped in to its unparalleled beauty. It is more popular with western tourists who love to use it as a base for water sports and fishing in the area. If you’re looking for dance-around-your-handbag clubbing, exquisite cuisine and nonstop shops, you simply couldn’t hope for better.
Baga Beach was quite interesting place among different things we explored around the beautiful Goa.  It is a popular beach and tourist destination with various options for tourists in North Goa. This Photo Journey shares some of the elements of Baga Beach which makes it different from other beaches in Goa.
Baga Beach is located in north part of Goa and situated at one end of the contiguous beach stretch which starts from Sinquerim, Candolim & Calangute. Next to Baga is Anjuna Beach which also one of the popular beaches in North Goa.
The Baga Beach located 10 kms west of Mapusa, is actually an extension of Calangute beach with clean white sand. Baga is a small but perfect beach located between two famous beaches, Colva and Calangute
Baga beach has  a series of shacks, fishing boats, Water-sports options, some of the brilliant restaurants for sea food and high tides.
This is one of the most crowded beach of North Goa.
On reaching Baga Beach, the search for a good restaurant started. There are lot of options on the beach with nice views of the sea

Mesmerizing sunset at Baga Beach, Goa, India.
The quiet atmosphere and isolated location of Baga, beside the scenic beauty that surrounds it, with the creek and the Retreat House perched have contributed to the beach being a favorite  of the beach lovers. Baga beach is very popular with western tourists who love to use it as a base for water sports and fishing in the area.
The name of the beach has come from Baga creek, which empties into the Arabian Sea at the northern end of the beach. On the beach there are options for tourists to have head/foot massage while enjoying your drink on beach-side.
The Baga Beach, Goa however was crowded than the other two beaches, but the spirit of Goa was evident in all of the three. The mood on the beach at all times was spirited and upbeat and the relaxation that I felt in these days during my stay in Goa was just enough to make me function until I would have the fortune to travel once again. Goa was truly magical and like a heaven for me free from worries and fully fun. I would recommend all my friends to come here and given a choice I would definitely revisit this heaven again.
Baga Beach in north Goa may be touristy and busy but for those who like action, it’s one of the most happening beaches on the coast. It's a place for party lovers and many of the options that a tourist wants in Goa. Although water-sports were not available during the monsoons but it seems that parasailing & water sports are quite cheap at Baga Beach, but quality should be expected on same parameters. Overall experience may become worthwhile if you are ready to pay more to the folks offering those services.
we had experience amazing Fire Show at Baga Beach

                                                        Fire Show at Baga Beach,
The Baga Beach was everything that we thought it would be  great food, happening shacks, lovely music, even karaoke at times and a lovely experience in all.

Saturday 8 August 2015

Anjuna beach is very popular in Goa which was made famous by the flower and power peace generation of the sixties. Now, the beach is famous for its weekly Flea market where tourists prefer to shop. Anjuna beach is located 6 km north of the Calanguate and Baga beaches and the nearest town is Mapusa which is about 2.5 km. This beach is well served by all the transportation facilities.
When it comes to planning of Goa Trip, name of Anjuna Beach comes in the list somewhere and there are different perceptions about this beach in northern part of Goa. While we were there in Goa during Monsoons, we also planned to visit it and this Photo Journey shares some of the experiences.
Anjuna is basically a village in Goa having some historical values associated.
Anjuna Beach is considered very famous for its trance parties but all this happens during the tourist season & not in Monsons. This beach attracts tourists from different parts of the world. But during monsoons, it was almost empty and there was hardly anything open if we wanted to have food or drinks. Anjuna beach also hosts the famous flea market, which happens on every Wednesday, wherein you can purchase many things.
Anjuna beach attracts backpackers, midrange tourists
Anjuna beach remains filled with a weird and wonderful..The village itself is certainly a bit ragged around the edges these days, but Anjuna remains a favorite of long- stayers and first-timers as well.
Anjuna is spread out over a wide area, its most northerly point being the main Starco crossroads, where most buses stop and around which many eating options are dotted, and its southernmost point is the flea market site.
