Kailasagiri Park is located on the top of the beautiful and spectacular Kailasagiri hills facing the Bay of Bengal at an altitude of 130 meters above the sea level. The kailasagiri Park has an area of 350 acres which is mostly covered by tropical trees.
The name of the hill is derived from the word Kailasa, which means abode of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.
One more new attraction is the toy train operating at the top of this hill top park. This train takes a circular tour of this garden at the hill top.
The major attraction of the park is Lord Shiva Parvati statue. The idol of Lord Shiva a top the hill stands tall at a height of 40 ft.The floral clock one of the biggest of India with a diameter of 10 ft.

By Air

Visakhapatnam is on the Kolkata-Chennai main line and is connected to both the cities by train.
