Arambol also known as harmal is the largest coastal village in pernem district of Goa. It is 32 km northwest of Mapusa and really mobilized for tourism.
The long beach of Arambol qualifies for nearly every cliche that Goa’s beaches are known for  gentle waves over shallow waters, wide beaches with fine white sand and tall coconut trees lining the edge of of the sandy shore.
On the coastline of Arambol beach, Lagoons and coconut plantation is punctured with few settlements equipped to cope with visitors.
Besides the fishing village of Arambol, which, during the winters, plays host to a large party of hippy travelers seeking a less pretentious alternative to other goan beaches, the beautiful Pernem coastline of long sandy beaches is also simply a pleasure to the eyes.
It is considered to be one of the most beautiful beaches in Goa, amongst many other popular locations including Vagator, Anjuna and Palolem. It borders North on Keri Beach and South on Mandrem Beach.
you will see lots of people doing yoga or meditating facing the sun. Don’t miss the drum circle every night around sunset time, next to Pacha. And along the beach, you will find many artists selling their creations and people practicing acro-yoga and juggling.
Arambol Beach has an alternative, laid-back ambience, which attracts many bohemian travellers. Despite its popularity, there are no major resorts in the area thanks to local campaigns to preserve the area’s tranquil atmosphere. There are cafĂ©s and restaurants along this stretch of fine, white sand.
The Majority of foreigners who stay in Arambol tend to stay there for the season, and over time a close-knit expat community (of mostly ageing hippies who’ve been coming here for years) has grown up, with its own alternative health facilities, yoga gurus, paragliding school, and whole food cafes.
Arambol is one of the few remote beaches of Goa. Its a beautiful beach and a peaceful village.

The beautiful waterfall is situated under the Shimoga district of Karnataka and is located within the Mookambika reserve forest at the base of the Kodachadri hills of the Western Ghats.
The milky white water rushing down against a background of rocks and greenery is a sight to behold. The one at the topmost level drops down to a natural pool below. The water in this pool is not very deep and visitors can enjoy a bath in the cool water of the falls at any time of the year except the monsoon season.
The waterfall flows as a series of 6 or 7 falls, each a beautiful sight in its own right. The interesting part about these falls is that each of these falls is hidden from one another and each seems to be more enthralling than the last one you see. But the most amazing one among them is the one that is the most secluded and is situated at the top of the cascade.
The best time to visit the waterfall is during the post monsoon season i.e., September to January. During these months the waterfall flows down with increased velocity due to the increased volume of water and offers a refreshing sight to the visitors.

Mallalli Falls, which is situated in the foothills of Pushpagiri, is known as one of the most beautiful water falls in Coorg. The origin of the fall lies at the point where Kumaradhara River takes plunge over 200 feet.
The heavenly scenery with lush green forests and the clear white waters of River Kumaradhara falling deep from the point of origin of the waterfall is a marvellous sight never to be missed.
Tourists can reach the falls by foot as road are quite narrow. The place makes for good trekking with beautiful setting all around to accompany you. The fact that the falls are in the foot of the Pushpagiri peak makes the place a much adventurous trekking point. There might be many leeches on the route and one must be careful while trekking till the waterfalls.
The best time to visit the falls is the monsoon season as during this time the falls have plenty of water. Even the greenery around is at its best during this time. During summer season, the water of the fall almost dries down. Visiting during the months of July to December can be a good idea.
Situated at a distance of 40 kms from Madikeri and 25 kms from Somwarpet, Mallalli Falls are well-connected via roadways and offer the most convenient way of commuting through taxis or jeeps.
