Vibhooti,Karnataka,India

Vibhooti is a small waterfalls near Yana, about 50 kms from Sirsi North Kanara, Western Ghats. The falls gets its name from the Lime Stone rock nearby.
The waterfall is surrounded by huge rocks and various limestone structures. Myths hold that Vibhooti fall is formed by the washing away of ashes from burning of Brsmasur.
Vibhooti falls is situated amidst dense forests named Sahyadri forest. It is also popularly known as Mabgi falls because of a small village named ‘Mabgi’ located in its vicinity.
The water in Vibhooti falls in two three steps and makes it an ideal place to seek refuge during scorching summers.
How to reach
By Road: KSRTC bus services are available from Sirsi, which is at a distance of 50 km from waterfall. Vibhooti falls is at a distance of 400 km from Bangalore.
By Rail: The nearest railway station to Vibhooti falls is Sirsi.
By Air: The nearest airport to Vibhooti falls is Mangalore International Airport.
