Burude,Karnataka,India

Burude  falls is one of its kind and has spellbinding magical beauty. The term Burude is a Kannad word which means ‘skull’, though origin of this name is surprisingly unknown.
The way to get down to the river is through a small creek which is dry in summer and which will be full in rainy and winter seasons which makes the entry to the waterfall and the valley impossible.
Its unique topographical features along with being shrouded in plantations and forests make Burude falls stand apart from the rest of the falls in India.
