Colva Beach is located at Colva Village in the Salcete Taluka of south Goa, approximately 7 km away from Margaon and 41 km from the capital city, Panaji. It is the longest beach in Goa with a coastline about 24 km long between the beach of Betalbatim (by the south) and Benaulim (by the north). 
It is one of the oldest and most popular beaches of Goa. Given the natural beauty and its proximity to easy means of transport, locals and travelers find it easily approachable.

In Colva Beach there are numbers of local food stalls and snacks bar. So, while sitting at the beach you can relish the fresh Goan cuisine along with cocktails and local drinks.
The place is perfect for those who are looking for a water-sports fix along with lively and vibrant nightlife.

A stroll during the sunset is refreshing and mesmerizing with beautiful view and the dimming sun rays throwing a golden shadow over the pristine water and glowing sand of the beach.
This beach is become more crowded at the weekend and during the winter season (especially November to February) by the locals and few foreigners. October month also become crowded the beach due to festival of Colva Church. 
How to Reach
By Air:
Colva Beach is located about 27 km from away Goa International airport of Dabolim. You can catch a bus or hire a private car from outside the airport root to reach at Margao Bus Station. After reaching Margao you easily access the beach by any local transports.
By Rail:
Margao Raiway Station is the nearest station located about 7 km away from Colva Sea Beach. Outside the railway station you will get lots of local buses and auto-rickshaws with a minimum charge.
By Road:
You will find a frequent Bus services after every 15 minutes from Margao bus station and reach at Colva. Usually, Auto rickshaws link the Colva market to Municipal Garden at Margao.
