Betul,Goa,India

Betul Beach is located at the southern end of the Sal River which flows through the south of Goa. This beach is basically a cove; it has a hillock on one side, laced with coconut tree plantation on the other and you will be able to see where the Sal River drains out into the vast Arabian Sea.
The main occupation of residents here is fishing. Betul Village consists primarily of huts and cabins; separate houses and cottages are not so much here – nearly 60 units only. People are living amicably; every evening children and women are gathering together to talk about different things, to play games and have fun.

Betul is located in the south of Mobor Beach, on the opposite bank of the River Sal, exactly at its delta. The river separates the beach from the village. This is an incredibly beautiful and interesting place, very suitable for people of romantic nature who are looking for solitude and loneliness and are yearn for connection with nature.
The cool ocean breeze ensures pleasant temperatures all year round. The relatively small secluded beach, which occupies the eastern coast of the River Sal, is hidden in the pleasant shadow of fruit trees and coconut palms and cast a spell onto tourists and guests with its soft silvery sand.

There are a few local houses which offer home-stay options and are a great way to get a closer feel to the culture and lifestyle of Goan village. Betul Beach is incredibly romantic; candles and little surprises with a dash of solitude is all that you will need for this lovely holiday destination!
