Situated on the west Maharashtra Konkan coastline. A scenic half an hours drive (about 13km) from Dapoli will bring you here. 
Karde is one of the most secluded and tranquil beaches amongst the Dapoli beaches. Karde beach has a thin film of white sand covering the underlying black sand typical of beaches in Dapoli.
One of the primary attractions here is dolphin watching. A number of local tour operators arrange dolphin watching trips in boats. 
A small creek which you can walk across during low tide separates the southern side of Karde beach from the northern part of Karde beach which is continuous with the Murud Harnai beach.

Karde beach can be easily reached by road from Mumbai, Pune Satara and Kolhapur. Maharashtra state transport buses are available to reach Dapoli from all major cities of Maharashtra. Dapoli is nearest city to Karde Beach and from Dapoli tourists can visit Karde beach by auto or state transport buses to Karde.
By Train
Khed is the nearest railway station to reach Karde Beach. Khed railway station is major station on Konkan Railway route and all trains plying from this rout stops at Khed. From Khed tourists can hire a cab or reach Karde beach by state transport buses.
By Air
Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Mumbai is the nearest international airport. From Mumbai airport there are many options to reach Karde beach. You can hire private cab directly to Karde beach or catch a train to Khed and from Khed reach Karde beach by private cab.
