Located at 1927 m above sea level Kasauli is a small hill station in Himachal Pradesh. It also serves as an army cantonment. Snow-clad mountains, dense forests and a pleasant climate make Kasauli a major draw among tourist.

By Air

The closest airport is at Shimla, 35 km away. It is connected by regular flights to Delhi and Kullu. Chandigarh, 65 km away, is also a good option to reach Kasauli. Flights connect Chandigarh to Delhi, Mumbai, Dharamsala, Bengaluru, Srinagar, Kolkata and Indore. Delhi (320 km) is the closest international airport.

By Rail

Kalka is the nearest railhead situated 40 km away. Major cities like Amritsar, Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai are connected to Kalka by rail.

By Road

Kasauli is well connected to Delhi and Chandigarh by road. Regular bus services connect both the cities with Kasauli. Chandigarh is an hour’s drive from Kasauli while Delhi can be reached in five and a half hours.
