This temple is located inside a cave.The Shiva Linga is a natural one exists from old ages. As this Shiva Linga is located inside a cave and it was not accessible easily in old days so it is known as Gupteswar or hidden Shiva temple.
Carry a powerful torch light with you. It is better if each member of your team carry one torch light. There are local kids who can show you different formations at a cost of Rs 10/-. This cave is quite long and you need to have expert guide to venture further inside the cave.
 From the parking area there are nearly 170 steps to be climbed to reach the entrance of the cave.
The Gupteshwar Caves is a limestone cave, discovered some years back. The prime attraction of the place is the Shivalinga, which is believed to be increasing in size. Pilgrims from across the country visit this cave.
How to Reach: From Jeypore or Koraput, you can reach to Gupteswar by bus or you can hire any taxi from Jeypore or from Koraput to reach Gupteswar. Around 20kms road is in bad shape.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Konark Sun temple is a striking model of ancient artistry, fluidity of ideas, and a pedagogic treasury. Dedicated to the sun god, Surya, the first rays of the sun fall on the entrance of the temple.
Believed to have been built in the 13th century CE the temple was built by the King Narasimhadeva I hailing from the Eastern Ganga dynasty between 1238-1250 CE. The temple was commissioned by the king while Samantaraya Mahapatra was the one in charge of its construction.
 The Konark Sun Temple is one of the prime attractions of Konark in Odisha. 
The temple is dedicated to Sun God and devotees from any religion or community are allowed inside the temple. 
Summers are very hot in Konark. So the best time would be from October to March when the weather is cool and pleasant.

By Air
Bhubaneswar Airport or Biju Patnaik International Airport is 65 km and around an hour-long drive from the Konark Sun Temple. You can easily get taxis on hire to reach Konark from the airport.
By Road
Konark Bus Stand is 6 minutes from the Sun Temple. You can board a bus from Puri and reach Konark in an hour. OSRTC and private operators provide bus service from Puri to Konark.
By Rail
Puri Railway Station is the nearest railway station from the Konark Temple. It is 30 km from Konark. You can book Bhubaneswar to Puri trains and then take a taxi to reach the temple.

Dhabaleswar Temple is dedicated to the worship of Lord Shiva. It is situated at a distance of 27 kilometers from the city of Cuttack, in the exotic island of Lord Dhabaleshwar.
The temple, located in an island on River Mahanadi, is embellished with stone carvings that date back to the early 10th and 11th century. The serene ambiance, in which the temple is situated, inspires spiritual feeling among one and all.
The hanging bridge is about 245 feet long. Another attraction of the Dhabaleswar temple is the Suspension Bridge which connects the temple. It was built in 2000.It is the longest suspension bridge in our country. 
The temple has beautiful stone carvings. The atmosphere in and around the temple is calm and peaceful.

Bhitarkanika National Park is situated in the Kendrapara District on the state of Odisha, India.
Established in the year 1998, the park is surrounded by the Bhitarkanika Wildlife Sanctuary. The mangroves are separated from the Bay of Bengal by the Gahirmatha Beach that lies in the eastern part. This beach is the nesting grounds by hundreds of Olive Ridley Sea Turtles and thus is a protected UNESCO site.
The sanctuary is visited for its rich and varied assortment of biodiversity like Kingfisher, Heron, King Cobras, Storks, Spotted Deer, Chital, Seagulls, Fishing Cat, Wild Pigs and Jungle Cat along with numerous resident and migratory species.
Inside the Bhitarkanika Wildlife Sanctuary,there is an area of approximately 4 hectares, which is visited by a large number of water birds, from the month of June to October every year.

Satkosia is spread over the deep gorge created by the Mahanadi River which stretches for 22 Km.
This enchanting reserve forest comprises two neighboring wildlife sanctuaries the Satkosia Gorge Sanctuary and Baisipalli Sanctuary.
The area was declared a sanctuary for the tigers in the year 2007. Nevertheless, the forest is teeming with unique flora and fauna that lends the ecosystem a timeless beauty.
Though the sanctuary can be visited during the months of October to February, the months of December and January are considered to be the best time to visit the place.
How to reach
From Cuttack, travel to Angul (which is 115 kms away), via bus, in order to reach Satkosia. The entry point is situated at Pamapsara, at a distance of around 30 kilometers from Angul.
The transfer to Satkosia from Athagarh is operated by Orissa Tourism Development Corporation (OTDC). Tourists are advised to hire a vehicle from Cuttack or Angul for both traveling and sightseeing purposes.

The caves of Udayagiri are an exquisite illustration of the local Art form. These were established by Chandragupt Vikramaditya, after defeating Shak's' in the 4th and 5th Century A.D. 
These caves are located around 4kms away from the Vidisha town and consist of a series of at least 20 caves. Carved out of the rocks atop the Udaygiri hill, these caves are certainly a delight for all the history buffs.
Udaygiri caves are located around 4kms from the town of Vidisha, which is 13kms away from the famous tourist spot Sanchi. The Udaygiri caves are easily accessible via roadways. Even the climb up the Udaygiri hills is connected by road which makes it easy for anyone to reach these caves.
This is a group of 20 caves dating from the 5th century after Christ. Caves no 1, 18, and 20 are near the top while the remaining ones are at the foot of the hill. Cave no 10 and possibly no 1 also are Jaina caves all the rest being Hindu.
The best time to visit the Udaygiri hills is between the months of October and March.

One of the oldest temples in the Eastern state of Odisha, Bhubaneswar, the Lingaraja Temple is dedicated to the Harihara a form of lord Shiva and lord Vishnu.
