The Nivati village location is amidst the greenery of
plantations and ocean roars form the west. The air is sweet, moist and clean
and the seawater is crystal clear, in its natural form. The Nivati fort located
nearby provides historical significance to this place. The atmosphere is serene
and the calmness of the sea and shores alike are reassuring in these hectic
days of today.Offers peace and serenity to independent travelers. Fishermen
seen launching their traditional boats and nets daily into the sea is an
interesting feature to watch on this beach. Adjoining the beach is a twin
village Kochra, which offers wonderful view of small tropical oasis on Nivati's
shore.
Nivati is an unexplored piece of land that springs a surprise at every turn you take. Nivati is also blessed with a 5 Km long backwater bordering the paddy fields and a cruise in the narrow water lanes of Nivati backwaters displaying the panorama of simple village life is an experience in itself.
Unlike Goan beaches, this beach has its own flair of the
original nature's ambiance with
the Fisherman's fishing around with boats and the non-crowded beach space.
Clean and Peaceful
A ship in harbor is safe,But that is not what ships are built for.
Very narrow approach road through fisherman colony but then
this huge beach makes feel good. The beach is safe to get into the water. The
surroundings are lovely and water is blue and green. They say it is possible to
watch dolphins early morning from this beach. When we visited in the evening
the place was quite and time spent.
Nivati beach is a secluded cove with a beautiful stretch of white sand beach and a turquoise blue sea to complement it.
The beach seine - net operated from the shore, called
'Rampani fishing' endemic to this region in Konkan is an intriguing sight.
The Nivati beach is without a doubt the main attraction in Nivati.
The Nivati fort plays sentinel to this beautiful shoreline and makes a Nivati vacation an unforgettable experience.
