Bharatpur beach on the shores of the Neil island is one of the more accessible spots in the union territory of Andaman and Nicobar. The Sea around the Jetty area is full of corals with schools of fish swimming around. The colour and form of vegetation along the beach soothes the senses.

This vast sandy stretch and gently curving bay allows for a perfect swim. The water is so shallow that even non-swimmers can take a refreshing dip. At low tide swimming is not possible, unless you walk for at least 500 meters through the coral reef into deeper waters.

Leisure travelers can also enjoy the coral viewing here by hiring a glass bottom boat or indulge in some adventurous activities like scuba diving and swimming.

The beach is close to the Neil island jetty. Regular ferries from Port Blair are available for the island. Rented bicycles/bikes/auto-rickshaws are available to explore the island.Ship service is also available from Vizag ,Chennai and Kolkata 3-4 times a Month          

By Air

To reach Port Blair from the mainland of India daily flights are available from Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata.
