Vellarimala is a mountain range in Kerala and it spreads across Thiruvambady Panchayat in Kozhikode district and Meppadi Panchayat in Wayanad district.
This waterfall offers a true dwelling for you to relax and to engage in the smell of its refreshing sweet air. You can also catch a glimpse of river Kanjirapuzha which is a tributary of the river Chaliyar.
Vellarimala Waterfalls is a great attraction to visit and spend quality time with family and friends. You can also trek around the Vellarimala mountain range which is also known as Camel’s Hump Mountains.
Vellarimala waterfall is an attraction which can be visited all through the year but the best season for visiting the place is from September to May when the monsoon resides and the tides are wavering with a gushing flow, hence, creating a spellbinding sight to see.
How to Reach
By Air – Calicut International Airport is located in the city.
By Road – Kozhikode has a good road network and is well connected by nearby districts of the state. National highway and state highways passes by the district which make road transport efficient and well maintained.
By Rail – Calicut Railway Station  is located in Kuttichira . The railway lines of Kozhikode is well connected to other cities of Kerala. From here one can take buses to Vellarimala.
