Kegdole,Goa,India

A serene and comparatively less commercialized beach, the Kegdole Beach is one of the less frequented beaches of Goa.
The beach is located at the base of a hillock in the village of Verem. The Indian Navy has a Naval Academy on the top of the hillock. Among the more exploratory kind, the beach is known for its enchanting views of the ocean and sunset on one side.
 On the Kegdole beach visitor gets spell bound with magnificent view of the open ocean on one side and the Reis Magos fort on the other side.
Kegdole Beach is not over crowded so tourist spend some time on sea shore in solitude and enjoy the natural beauty.
Best Time to Visit is October to March.
How to Reach
By Train
The major railway stations at Goa are Madgaon and Vasco-da-gama. These stations are well maintained and are directly connected to all the major cities in India. The trains plying from different cities destined to reach Goa are Mangalore express, Jan shatabdi and Poorna express to name a few. Going by train is considered as cheap and affordable option. Several trains depart daily for Goa from different cities. Getting your ticked reserved well in advance is a good idea.
By Air
Goa is well connected with other cities of India by air.  At a distance of 29 kms from Paniji, the international airport at Goa is situated at Dabolim.  This airport is owned by the Indian navy and this airport connects all the cities of India as well as all the international cities. Major cities of India facilitate daily air services to Goa.
By Bus
Various private and government owned buses run regularly from all the major cities to Goa.  The main bus stand is the kadamba bus stand and it is situated at a distance of 10 minutes drive from the railway station. Luxury buses are also available. National highways NH4A, NH17 and NH17A connect Goa with the major cities in India. The fare charged by these buses is reasonably affordable.
