A scenic place enveloped with a beautiful blanket of natural
beauty, Joginder Nagar is located in Mandi district in Himachal Pradesh. It is
one of the central hill stations of Northern India.
It is the only town in Asia which houses 3 power stations
that are hydro-electric. Hence it is well known as The City of
Powerhouses or The Electric City. The town has been named after Raja
Joginder Sen who was the king of Mandi.

Jogindernagar is the terminal point of the 163 Km long
and popular Kangra valley narrow gauge rail line that starts from Pathankot.

heavy woollens are required. Summers temperatures are mild
and cottons are recommended.

By Air
The nearest airports are at GaggI (Kangra) and from the one
at Bhuntar near Kullu the distance is 11km.
By Road
Taxis and buses to Jogindernagar are available at all major
stations.
By Rail
Jogindernagar is the terminus of the narrow gauge rail track
from Pathankot. It is 65 km by road from Kangra and 55 km from Mandi.
