Traveling to Puttaparhy by road is quite easy. There are
private and APSRTC buses between Puttaparthi and nearby destinations like
Ananthapur (84 km), Bangalore (156 km), and Hyderabad (472 km). Renting a taxi
is another option for a comfortable journey.
By Rail
Satya Sai Prasanthi Nilayam Railway Station is just 8 km
from the Ashram and is well-connected to important destinations of India such
as Mumbai, New Delhi, Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad, and Bubhaneshwar. The nearest
major railway station is in Dharmavaram, 45 km from here. Regular state-run
buses connect this railway station to Puttaparthi.
