The other sopanamarga (Srivari mettu) starts from Chandragiri and is only about 6 km in length.

Talakona Falls are situated in Sri Venkateswara National Park near Nerabailu Village of Yerravari Mandal of Chittoor district in Andhra Pradesh.
The waterfalls are placed amidst dense forest surrounded by natural beauty and greenery. It is believed that the water of Talakona Falls is enriched with herbs with healing powers. Talakona was declared as Bio-Sphere Reserve in 1990 because of wide variety of plant species present in the region. In this forest, one can find variety of endangered species like sambar, porcupine, cheetal, golden gecko, Indian giant squirrel, slender loris, panther and mouse deer etc.
There is a 240 m long canopy rope walk, about 35 to 40 feet in height, giving a thrilling experience to the visitors while walking. There are mighty trees around with birds and monkeys during the canopy walk. There are number of trek routes in different categories of difficulty, giving an option for the visitor to choose their route. There are also several caves dotted over the mountains where it is believed that sages meditate eternally.
Tourists visit the waterfall throughout the year. However, the best time to visit Talakona waterfall is from the month of November to January, as after the monsoon season the Waterfall looks more appealing with increased amount of water, cascading with more power.

By Air : The nearest airport is in tirupati which is 74 kms way from the waterfalls and has well connected flights to Hyderabad. The nearest international airport is Chennai which is connected to all major cities of India.
By Rail: nearest railway station is in Tirupati which is about 58 kms away. From tirupati, taxis and cars can be hired to reach the waterfalls which is located in Nerabailu village.
By Road : regular state buses are available to tirupati and chittoor from major cities and towns of Andhra Pradesh. Taxis or mini buses can be hired from this two towns to reach Talakona waterfalls. Reaching Nerabailu village before 4.30 in the evening is important because entry is restricted after that.

Rollapadu Bird Sanctuary, located in Andhra Pradesh, is well known for its exquisite flora and fauna. This sanctuary is located at a distance of about 60 km from Kurnool, near Nandikotukoru, and covers an area of about 614 sq km.
Rollapadu Bird Sanctuary is the only habitat in Andhra Pradesh for the rare and endangered Great Indian Bustard. The sanctuary is vegetated by dry thorny forests interspersed with dry cereal crops, cotton, groundnut and castor.
The landscape at the sanctuary is covered with thorny bushes as well as open grasslands which provide the ideal habitat for the animals and birds. There are also regular buses from Kurnool and Nandikotkuru to the sanctuary.
                                    
There is a forest rest house at Kurnool or you can stay in the inspection bungalow at Nandikotkuru and spend a pleasant time watching exotic birds at Rollapadu Bird Sanctuary. 
Rollapadu sanctuary is home to variety of species with large number of deer's and black bucks. Other wildlife includes Foxes, jackals, bonnet macaques, jungle cats and sloth bears have been reported at the sanctuary. It also houses 132 bird species with the Alaganuru reservoir near the sanctuary being a haunt for migratory species. Some of the bird species spotted at Rollapadu besides the bustard and the florican include Indian rollers, mynas, eagles and migratory species such as barheaded geese, Demoiselle Cranes and Greater Flamingos.
Monsoon and post-monsoon is the best season (Oct to Dec) to visit this place when the migratory birds inhabit the place. It usually takes about two hours two visit the main sanctuary and bird sanctuary. There is a small bird museum, a watch tower and guest house near the sanctuary.

By Air: Hyderabad Airport is the nearest airport, 60 kms away from the town, states buses, taxies and cabs are available from there to Kurnool.
By Rail: The nearest railway station in Kurnool is 45kms away from the sanctuary and is well connected to the major stations in the state of Andhra Pradesh and major cities of the country. Shared cabs, taxies and buses are available to cover the rest of the journey.
By Road: APSRTC runs buses from the major cities connecting Rollapadu. The nearest major city closest to Rollapadu is Kurnool which is 43kms away from the sanctuary. Kurnool is linked by road to the major cities of the state of Andhra Pradesh like Vishakhapatnam, Hyderabad, Bangalore.

Rajahmundry, formerly called as Rajamahendri, is a beautiful city located in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is also known as the ‘cultural capital’ and ‘born city’ of Andhra Pradesh.

Papikondalu are series of mountain range that are located in Rajahmundry in West Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh. Papikondalu Mountain range runs along River Godavari, one of the largest and vivacious rivers in India. 
The mighty river narrowing and passing with twists and turns along the Papi Hills is every visitor's delight. Papikondalu mountain range spreads over a vast area, covering about three districts of East Godavari, West Godavari and Khammam Districts.
To get the real essence of Papikondalu, one has to go for the boat journey either from Rajahmundry or Bhadrachalam There are small motor boats with capacity of five including the rider or River Streamers carrying about fifty to sixty people. The journey takes about 8 hours and the adventure begins the moment you step on to the boat. The ups and downs of the river water, the drifting sand, the cool breeze, small fish that can be spotted in the clean water and the fresh air from the Papikondalu Hills, give you one of the best experiences to travel.
On the same route, there is another small but interesting place called "Pattisam". Pattisam is a small island that is famous for the temple of Lord Veerabhadra, a warrior of Lord Shiva's army. The village is said to be named as "Pattisam" after one of the weapons of Lord Shiva.

The Mypad Beach is one of the most significant beaches in Andhra Pradesh. This is also known as the Mypadu Beach. This is the Telegu name of this beach. The Mypad Beach lies on the coast of Bay of Bengal and entices the visitor with its sizzling sight and is the most exquisite sightseeing in Andhra Pradesh.
The Mypad Beach is located at a distance of just 18 kilometers from the district headquarter of Nellore. Kuppam is a census town in Chittoor district in Andhra Pradesh. It is 105 km from Bangalore and 250 km from Chennai by rail.
 It is known for its granite quarries and a granite variety, Kuppam Green, is named after the town.
Kuppam has now become an educational hub with an engineering college, medical college and Dravidian University.
Kuppam shot to fame after the ex AP Chief Minister and the TDP supremo N. Chandra Babu Naidu won the elections from this constituency. He has been the MLA here since 1989.
