Located approximately 17 km from Thodupuzha in Idukki district of Kerala, this majestic fall is one of the most popular attractions in Munnar, surrounded by rich dense forests and tea plantation.

The water at Thommankutha cascades in full flow, allowing tourists to take a bath in the refreshing water and feel the coolness of mountain stream. One can take in the succulent aroma of the woods and enjoy exciting trekking in the pristine terrains of hilly forests.

The waterfalls is quite impressive after rainfall or in the monsoon season. The water from the falls is considered as of medicinal value and the area is more photographic potential due to its beautiful surroundings.

There are regular bus services that take you from Thodupuzha to the waterfalls. From Thodupuzha, take Munnar bus that goes through Thommankuthu.
