Candolim,Goa,India

The small seaside town of Candolim in the North of Goa, about a 30-minute drive outside of Goa’s capital city Panjim, plays host to the longest stretch of beach in the entire state. Beginning at Fort Aguada  and merging with Calangute Beach towards the end Candolim beach plays host to everything special about Goa.
With sunkissed sands that tie into the vibrant ambience of Goa, Candolim is one of the best places to have a home. Candolim beach has been noted for its mesmerizing effect on people. Beginning at Sinquerim and merging with Calangute and Baga beaches at the northern end, Candolim has one of the longest stretches of seashore in Goa.
This haven is only 15km from the capital and has a calm and peaceful atmosphere. Even though the beach is close to the bristling life of Calangute, life at Candolim beach is relaxed and laid back. The shrub covered dunes at the back of the beach are popular with tourists who can enjoy relaxing evening.
Candolim is a small town in Northern part of Goa. Candolim is situated just adjacent to the famous Calangute beach and also a popular tourist destination. There are some very good places to stay around Candolim Beach.
Candolim Beach is one of the most popular beaches to explore in North Goa. Candolim has become my most favorite beach in Goa. Candolim beach is supposedly frequented mainly by Europeans hence all the shacks, restaurants, markets and everything else has that European touch in it.
Candolim Beach is a place usually for tourist beach goers having a more seaside town type of vibe. Compared to other north Goa beaches like Vagator or Anjuna known for the party scene or hippy vibe.
The majority of the people who frequent this beach is mainly because it is quieter, compared to calangute beach.
Candolim beach in itself is very calm and peaceful.Overall the beach is very beautiful with clean and green landscapes around it. The orangish yellow sand on Candolim beach looks awesome during sunset time and monsoon time.
Just 14 km away from the north of Panaji, the white sandy beach of Candolim normally embellished by the scrub-covered dunes and draws a large number of travel enthusiasts from all across the world.
