How to Reach
By Air
The nearest airport to Kantal is Jolly Grant in Dehradun
(95kms) and Indian Airlines operate regular flights from Delhi to Dehradun.
From Dehradun airport, the visitor will have to hire a taxi or cab to reach
Kanatal. State buses are also available at regular intervals.
By Rail
The nearest railway links to Kanatal is provided by Dehradun
and Haridwar. Shatabdi Express and Doon Express are the trains that provide
regular service to both these stations, from New Delhi. From the stations, you
will have to hire a cab to reach Kanatal or board the state buses.
By Road
Kanatal is also well connected by roads. It is at a distance
of 300 km from Delhi. There are two feasible road routes to the place, from the
national capital. One is Via Haridwar to Rishikesh where the uphill road
through Narendra Nagar and Agrakhal takes you to Chamba. It’s a well maintained
road with no road slides. Thereon, take the Chamba-Mussoorie road to reach
Kantal.
