Uttarakhand is blessed with an abundance of natural

Bhimtal is slightly on the warmer side in mid June, but
makes for an all year round destination.
How to Reach
By Air
The nearest airport is at Pantnagar, some 58 kms from
Bhimtal. From pantnagar one can take bus or private taxi to Bhimtal.
By Rail
The closest railhead for Bhimtal is at Kathgodam, 22 kms
away. Trains (Ranikhet Express or Uttar Sampark Kranti Express) connect
Kathgodam with Agra, Bareilly, Lucknow and Delhi. From Kathgodam you can take a
hired taxi or bus to Bhimtal.
By Bus
Regular bus service links Bhimtal with Kathgodam. Private
taxies are available from Nainital, Bhowali & Haldwani.
