The Hathni Mata waterfalls one of the most beautiful waterfalls in India which is 100 meter tall and surrounded by green carpeted hills with flora and fauna. 
The name Hathni was derived by the local tribal community from the rock that looks like baby elephant in base of waterfall. Tribal community strongly believes in the Hathni Mata hence fairs are also held on some occasions, mainly in winter. Although, Hathni Mata waterfalls are very popular among youngsters and local communities, due to location and seasonal rush, it is one of many unspoilt jewels of Jambughoda.
The Hathni Mata waterfalls are located in Jambughoda, 30km from Pavagadh and approximately 80km from Vadodara. It is one of must visit places in Jambughoda during rainy days of monsoon.
How to Reach
The Hathni Mata Waterfall is approximately 80 km from Vadodara. The public transportations are also available to nearest villages but it is not recommended due to frequency of buses on these routes. Cars or motor-cycles are beast means of transportation to reach the Hathni Mata Waterfall.

Gira Waterfalls are a beautiful seasonal cascade situated in a verdant setting, about 50 km away from Saputara. This waterfall is formed by the watercourse of the Gira River after it falls from 75 feet high cliff. The water spills over the cliff at a very high speed, which creates conditions similar to dense fog. 
This falls experience a heavy flow of water and can be witnesses in its full glory. Owing to the unspoilt natural beauty and increasing popularity of the Gira Waterfalls, efforts are being made to turn it into a tourist hot spot.
This virgin area can only reached by trekking one kilometre from the last point where vehicles have to be parked. There are view huts where visitors can conveniently stretch their legs and have their food.
Gira falls is one of the best tourist attraction of Satpura and is just one kilometers away from the Satpura- Waghai road, the best time to visit this fall is recommended to be around June to November.

By Air
While Surat is the nearest domestic airport (approximately 156 kilometres away), Mumbai is the nearest international airport (approximately 225 kilometres) from Saputara.
By Bus
Many state-owned and private buses run from Gujarat, Pune and Mumbai. You can choose from a regular, air-conditioned, deluxe or a private luxury coach. The bus fare is quite economical.
By Train
Railway is the best mode of travel to Saputara. The Waghai railway station at Billimora is the nearest railhead from Saputara (approximately 50 kilometres away). This railway station is well-connected with Mumbai, Gujarat and Ahmedabad. Once you reach at the station, you can board a taxi or a bus which is the most economical option to get to the main city.
Road/Self Drive
Saputara has a hilly terrain but is well-connected with most of the neighbouring cities like Nasik (80 kms), Surat (172 kms), Mumbai (280 kms) Ahmedabad (420 kms) and Vadodra (300 kms).

Situated about 120 km away from Haflong, the Kopili River is obstructed by stones, but yet it turns into a gushing milky white waterfall at this spot called Panimur and is indeed an ethereal beauty. 
The panoramic view of the scenery attracts a number of nature lovers and photographers into this place. There is a Forest Inspection Bungalow in this place, which can house a few tourists but needs to be booked in advance, especially in the tourist season.
Panimoor is the only hill station of the district, and thus, favoured by a number of tourists, especially during winter and spring. 

However, the Kapili River shows its wildest best at the spot of Panimoor. There are other places of interest nearby such as Maibong and Umrangso, which too attract tourists.
How to Reach
The closest rail head from Panimoor is situated in Lamding and you need to travel from Lamding to Panimoor via private cars. From Dimapur, which is about 107 km away from the waterfall of Panimoor you can avail rented cabs to reach the place directly or reach Haflong via state buses and then take a private car from there to Panimoor.

Located at a distance of 49 km from Chittoor, Tirumala Temple, Talakona Waterfalls is one of the highest waterfalls in the country. With white streams of water falling from a height of 270 feet, Talakona waterfalls presents a breathtaking view amid serene natural surroundings.

Sri Kapileswara Swamy Temple is another important temple of Tirupati, dedicated to the Lord Shiva. According to legends, this temple has been named after great saint Maharishi Kapila, who was an ardent devotee of Lord Shiva. Pleased with his unwavering devotion, Lord Shiva along with Goddess Parvati gave him their divine darshan at this location. During the same time, a Kapila Lingam appeared out of the Earth.
Devotees visit Kapila Theertham seeking blessing of the Lord at Sri Kapileswara Swamy Temple along with visiting the majestic Kapila waterfall which is also considered to be divine.

During Karthika month, on the holy occasion of full moon day, there is congregation of all theerthas of three worlds comprising heaven, Earth and the Underworld on the Kapila Teertham. According to beliefs, if a devotee bath in this holy water of theertham, he or she will be free from the sins of this world, and will attain Moksha with blessing of Lord Shiva.

The temple receives innumerable number of devotees especially during the annual Shivarathri festival. Another good time to visit Sri Kapileswara Swamy Temple is during the festival of annual Brahmotsavam, when it also participates actively along with other shrines of Tirupati. Vinayaka Utsava and Karthika Deepam are two other important celebrations here. The sight of hundreds of deepams illuminating the premises of the temple during Karthika Deepam is breathtaking.

Sri Kapileswara Swamy Temple is located at Kapilatheertam it stand majestically at the foot of Tirumala Hills. This temple is situated at a distance of only 4 km from Tirupati Bus stand. From Tirupati Railway station it is about 5 km away. Sri Kapileswara Swamy timings are from 5 AM to 9 PM.

Chelavara Falls is a beautiful waterfall situated near Cheyyandane village on Virajpet ,Talacauvery road in Coorg. It is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Karnataka and also one of the best places to visit in Coorg.
Chelvara Falls is a natural waterfall formed by small stream, a tributary of Kaveri River. It drops from a height of about 150 feet into a big pool. The pool has a depth of more than 50 feet. The waterfall is locally known as Embepare, which means tortoise in local Kodava language. The rock over which the water cascades is shaped like a tortoise and hence the name Embepare.
The water fall is really a wonderful site as the water gushes from the rocks amidst the green coffee plantations. The enchanting natural beauty and the tranquility of the place attract tourists and nature lovers. This waterfall is seasonal and it offer wonderful views in rainy season. Entering the water is very dangerous and has proven to be fatal for many over the past few years. The tourists are advised not to get into the water. 
How to reach:
By Water: The New Manglore Port at Panambur in Manglore which is 145 kms from Madikeri is the nearest sea port for Kodagu.
By Road : Coorg can be reached from Kerala and Karnataka through three different ghat roads – the Sampaje – Madikeri ghat road, Panthum – Bhagamandala ghat road and the Tremutta – Vijarpet ghat road. Vijarpet is only 16 Km from the falls and proper buses run through these roads.
By Train: Railway heads of Kannur and Thalassery are the nearest from the state of Kerala and from Karnataka is Manglore, Hassan and Mysore.
By Air: Mysore and Manglore are the nearest airports. Mysore is 130 kms from Madikeri and 115 Km from Virajpet and Manglore airport is 140 Km from Madikeri and 172 Km from Vijarpet. From these places buses and private modes of transportation are available for tourist conveyance.

Jomlu Theertha is a waterfall created by River Sita. It is located in the Someshwara Wildlife Range near the Belve village in the Udupi district of Karnataka. The waterfall is situated at a distance of about 40 km from the town of Udupi.
Jomlu Theertha is a small waterfall with a height of about 20 feet. It is the second waterfall created by the River Sita, the first one being the Koodlu Theertha Falls in the Hassan district.
Jomlu Theertha Falls is a picturesque waterfall situated in the midst of natural beauty. The cool water, the chirping of birds and the calm atmosphere add to the charm of the falls.
The white water rushing down the rocks and the surrounding greenery is a visual treat for anyone visiting the spot.

By Air

By Rail
To reach the waterfalls the nearest railway station is the Kundapura Railway Station that stands at a distance of about 35 km. The Udupi Railway Station is located at a distance of about 40 km from the waterfall.
By Road
The waterfall is located on the Brahmvar-Hebri road that is at a distance of 40 km from Udupi, 25 km from Agumbe and 12 km from Hebri. There are direct buses that operate between Bangalore and Hebri. There are buses for Hebri from Udupi also. From Hebri visitors can hire local means of transport for reaching the waterfalls.

Godchinamalaki Falls is also known as Markandeya falls as it is made by River Markandeya. It is located in deep rugged green valley. This waterfall is also reachable through the irregular forest route from Godachinamalaki village, which calls for thrill and adventure.
It is basically a combination of two falls, one which falls from a height of 25 meters into a rocky valley and the other which, at some distance from this rocky valley, falls from a height of 18 meters.
The waterfalls are at a distance of 15 km from Gokak while it is 40 km from Belgaum. The waterfall is surrounded by deep green valley.
Best time to visit Godchinamalaki falls is between months June and September.

By Road
Belgaum is well connected to the nearby states named Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh. Buses operated by KRTC run from nearby states.
By Rail
 Belgaum is the rail line that is located closest to the Godchinamalaki waterfalls.
