Sinquerim is a coastal village in North Goa that includes the pristine Sinquerim Beach. It is famous for the imposing Fort Aguada that flanks it’s southern tip and the scores of Bollywood movies that were shot here.
Sinquerim beach is first beach in Goa when we go from Panjim towards north part of Goa. This beach is 14 kilometers from Panjim and located near Aguada Fort.
The Sinquerim Beach is situated just below the Fort Aguada and the Candolim beach. It is quieter in comparison to Calangute beach. Lot of water sports and boating excursions like dolphin trips and crocodile Dundee, snorkeling trips are arranged here.
Palm-lined shiny beaches with golden sands and sapphire waters enhance the beauty of the Sinquerim beach which is one of the most famous tourist destinations in Goa.
This long and straight sandy beach is perfect for a walk in the sands along the beach where the waves gently caress you to give you the out of the world feeling.
The Sinquerim Beach is one of the oldest and finest beaches in Goa. The beach offers facilities for water sports to the tourists.
Fort Aguada  is located in the area and this is one of the most important and well preserved forts in India.  
How to reach
You have to reach Goa either by air or by rail. The airport is about 45 kilometers and the railway station is about 48 kilometers from the Sinquerim Beach. You can get hired vehicles and buses to reach the beach.
