Indroda Nature Park (INP) is an environment conservation initiative led by the Forest Department of Gandhinagar. Situated in the capital city of Gujarat, this park covers a total geographical area of 428 hectares, which is covered with dense forestation and rich vegetation.
The nature park has been divided into various sections, which are dedicated to different varieties of flora and fauna. The Dinosaur and Fossil Section is the most intriguing, which displays bones, eggs and other precious fossils related to this extinct animal.
Indroda Nature Park also has a Plant Section and Botanical Garden, where a large number of indigenous trees, ornamental exotic flora, succulent plants and medicinal herbs are planted and preserved.
Indroda Nature Park is considered to be the second largest hatchery of dinosaur eggs in the world. Regarded as India’s Jurassic Park, it is run by the Gujarat Ecological Education and Research Foundation (GEER), and is the only dinosaur museum in the country.
The park consists of a zoo, massive skeletons of sea mammals like the blue whale, as well as a vast botanical garden, amphitheater, interpretation center and camping facilities. It also has a Wilderness Park which is home to innumerable species of birds, reptiles, hundreds of nilgais, langurs and peafowls in its vast forest.

The nearest airport to Gandhinagar is the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Airport in Ahmedabad, which is located at a distance of 27 kilometres (roughly a half an hour drive) from Gandhinagar.
By Train
The Ahmedabad Railway Station is the nearest railway station to Gandhinagar and is located at a distance of 27 kilometres from Gandhinagar. The railway station is well connected to cities like Nagpur, Bikanaer, Jaipur, Ujjain, Ajmer, Guwahati and Jammu among others.

Gandhinagar has a strong road network and is well connected by road to cities such as Ahmedabad, Anand, Godhra, Kalol, Vadodara and Rajkot within Gujarat.

Nal Sarovar Bird Sanctuary is one of the most eminent sanctuaries in India! The sanctuary is globally reckoned for its enriched wildlife that includes a great range of flora and fauna species, especially birds!

To reach the sanctuary, you have to travel only 64 kilometers from the Ahmadabad that is capital of Gujarat, a western state in India. The entire park is spread into area of almost 115 square kilometers.

Sarkhej Roza is a complex ground of mosque and tomb situated in the Makarba village in Ahmedabad City which is 7 km away from city.

Dada Harir Vav is a step well located in an Asarwa village in Ahmedabad city of Gujarat State. The step well Built before 500 years ago by Sultan Bai Harir.
The name of this step well given after its creator. Dada harir step well is similar to others well in Ahmedabad.
The well is situated just behind the tomb of Dada Hari. The step well has seven floors and there is a long flight of stairs which take us to the down into the well.

Once the residence of Mahatma Gandhi and his wife Kasturba, Sabarmati Ashram is undoubtedly the biggest tourist attraction situated in the suburb of Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
